McMaster aide tweet says Lt. Gov. ‘a catastrophe’
Trey Walker, chief executive assistant to Atty. Gen. Henry McMaster and former S.C. Republican Party executive director, isn’t too interested in seeing the competition get a leg up any time soon. With the speculation that Gov. Mark Sanford may resign, Walker had a short, but interesting exchange with Senate Democratic Caucus director Phil Bailey.

A little early for the mudslinging, eh? It’s a good many months until the primary, and O. Henry still has to make it into the runoff. Right now, that ain’t so certain. Remind us again, how did Walker do as Mid-Atlantic coordinator for the McCain campaign? Oh, yeah — 2-4, with one of those losses being Virginia.
