Fmr. Carolina players arrested in Alabama brawl
Jordin and Dustin Lindsey, last seen ’round here playing in garnet and black, still have some fight in them. Literally. On Sept. 4, the pair were with their father at a Dauphin Island bar enjoying themselves before the first full Saturday of college football. Or maybe it was early in the morning, after Carolina’s win over N.C. State. The report doesn’t specify. Either way, the Lindseys were having a good time until things got out of hand.
The local police chief was quoted as saying that the fight turned into a free for all, with all three family members participating. Wednesday, they turned themselves in.
Dustin Lindsey, 23, was charged with four counts of third-degree assault and one count of disorderly conduct, according to records. He was released from jail Wednesday on $4,500 in bail.
Jordin Lindsey, 23, was charged with two counts of third-degree assault and one count of disorderly conduct. He was released from jail on $2,500 in bail.
Billy Lindsey, 49, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was released from jail on $1,500 in bail.
Cocks fighting, though entertaining, is still illegal in Alabama.
