Today’s announcement by Atty. Gen. Henry McMaster that he’s running for governor (O RLY? We never would have guessed) hasn’t exactly been greeted warmly in the IT community. After all, instead of working hard to coordinate efforts against something that’s a real threat to communities throughout the state, he grabbed that brass media ring for a quixotic effort against Craigslist.
If there could be a picture that would sum up the general feeling, Michael Arrington at TechCrunch put it up next to his post.
The Mac Daddy should be happy that bit o’ fun wasn’t done on Wonkette. But, Arrington didn’t hold back, writing, “If you people in South Carolina vote this man into office again you deserve all the humiliation that will continue to rain down on you.”
